Hundreds of family members of crime victims marched holding poster-sized photos of their loved ones Tuesday morning during the second annual Orange County Victims’ Rights March and Rally. Winnebago County State's Attorney Joe Bruscato announced today that the Winnebago County State's Attorney's Check Offender Program has surpassed the $750,000.00 mark in restitution dollars returned.

The Program, which has been active since March 29, 2005, has assisted Winnebago Merchants who have been victimized by bad check losses.
