The company is seeking a Case Manager to manage a case load of offenders in a program known as Adult Electronic Monitoring. This program is contracted through the Los Angeles County Probation Department.

Responsibilities and Duties:

We are seeking a service-oriented Case Manager to manage a caseload of offenders. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday. This position calls for protection of the community through supervision of the probated offender.

• Meet regularly with offender based on the offender’s individual probation terms

• Review activity reports with each offender

• Collect required documentation

• Administer breath alcohol and urinalysis drug tests

• Arrange follow up appointments

• Set up schedules in accordance with probation terms

• Install monitoring equipment and continually assess equipment

• Availability to be “on-call” and some weekends from time to time.

Requirements and Skills Needed:

• Bachelor’s Degree in criminal justice or related field

• Bilingual Spanish – conversational, strongly preferred

• Social work/law enforcement experience

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and utilize effective time management skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Advanced typing skills

• Advanced problem-solving capabilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook) a plus

• Ability and experience in handling a heavy workload

Special Requirements:

The candidate will be required to qualify for a Los Angeles County security clearance. We will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance. Candidate must be 21 years of age or older per Los Angeles County Probation.
