This opportunity provides experience in the area of criminal justice in a low stress environment and affords significant downtime during the shift.

​

This position is Full-Time and shifts are:

Tuesday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, and Saturday 7:00 am-3:00 pm.

​

Shifts may vary and we may be able to accommodate requested hours depending on coverage. This position may also work out of the Garden Grove and Anaheim office locations.

​

Qualified candidates must be cleared with Orange County Probation in accordance with local laws and regulations.

​

Responsibilities and Duties:

This position is responsible for the collection and processing of urine drug screens.

  • Check-in the participant.

  • Obtain the urine specimen for drug screening according to federal standards and protocols.

  • Follow chain of custody requirements and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.

  • Answer telephones, maintain logs, create reports, file, and maintain inventories of supplies and related paperwork.

  • Participate in shift rotation if another team member is not available at the other Orange County locations from time to time.

Requirements and Skills Needed:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and utilize effective time management skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook) a plus
