CorrectiveSolutions earned an extended contract with the San Bernardino Law and Justice Group to operate the RISE (Rehabilitation, Intervention, Support and Education) Program, originally pioneered with CorrectiveSolutions in 2016 after being designed by the Law and Justice Group. The RISE Program is a comprehensive diversion program for misdemeanor offenses and eligibility is at the discretion of the District Attorney and Public Defender’s offices. The RISE program has been a heralded success for San Bernardino County residents and courts alike. With a low recidivism rate and a high enrollment and completion rates, the courts have seen a marked decrease in their caseload, and defendants have been able to stay out of the criminal justice system, limiting any collateral consequences of offending.
