CorrectiveSolutions has been awarded a contract with Fresno County, California through a highly competitive RFP process, for diversion program administration services. The DA's Office offers several different diversion program options for offenders who have a minimum criminal history the opportunity to avoid involvement in the criminal court system.
The programs' conditions include behavioral change courses that introduce cognitive behavioral change strategies and consideration of the connection between participants' thinking and behavior, as well as a deep reflection on their involvement in the criminal justice system. Other conditions include community service, random drug testing, etc. In addition, the programs involve restorative justice components and offer referrals to community-based resources tailored to the individual participant.
A participant's successful completion of the assigned activities results in dismissal of filed criminal charges.
